Warranty

1. The warranty terms of each product on sale by SMC international are subjected to the terms of warranty stated by the manufacturer of the subject product. SMC international is not obligated to provide any additional services to the buyer of said product.


2. The warranty that SMC international provides to the buyer of the product is strictly under the terms and conditions stated by the manufacturer of the said product. SMC international is not responsible for any guarantees or warranty of the product.


3. All products retailed by SMC international are for personal use only. SMC international does not endorse the use of any of the components retailed to be used in any core industry such as Medical equipment, Aviation, Military and Architecture. Any damages or loss of life caused due to using products retailed by SMC international is solely the responsibility of the owner of the said product.


4. To claim warranty for the product, the buyer mush first present the retail invoice of the product that was provided to the customer as proof of purchase. If the product invoice is not provided by the customer during the warranty claim, SMC international and the manufacturer of the subjected brand is not obligated to provide any warranty based services to the customer.


5. If a person has to send the a product to SMC international for warranty based services, the concerned person will have to send that product to SMC international by his or her own expense. If the product is in warranty, the product will be replaced and delivered to the said person free of charge.


6. To invoke the warranty on a product, the customer must report the issue of the product not meeting set standards stated by the manufacturer.


6.1. If the product’s purchase invoice date falls within the warranty date set by the manufacturer, then only is the service center obligated to repair, refurbish or replace the product.


6.2. If the product cannot be replaced, repaired or refurbished, then the service center will issue a credit note to the customer which will be of the same value as the cost stated in the product’s invoice.


7. If the product is physically damaged on arrival, the recipient must inform the inform SMC international within 48 hours of receiving the product. If the recipient fails to report this incident, SMC international will not be held responsible in any way.


8. The warranty will be considered as voided if the product is tampered, damaged, altered or the warranty seal of the product has been removed.


9. If a product is deemed fit for warranty services by the service operations center, the product owner is waved off both repair and labor charges that are generated regarding the subjected product.


10. The insurance for the transportation of the product will only be provided if the product is shipped with the shipping company that is chosen by SMC international. If the buyer elects to ship the product using a shipping company of his or her choice. The buyer will have to cover the shipping charges and SMC international will not provide any transit insurance for the product.
