MSI has just announced that the availability of the new firmware for 11 of the brand’s AMD 500-Series Motherboards. As per MSI the beta version of the will land with the support for the “Future AM4 Processors” which are speculated to be the Ryzen 5000 Series Processors.
The updated firmware incorporates AMD’s latest Combo PI V2 version 22.214.171.124 BIOS and brings other improvements to the table. The firmware comes with an updated SMU module, optimizations for DDR4 memory overclocking, and solve specific issues when overclocking.
The motherboard which has just received the new firmware updates, Include Almost all the X570 Boards, The models are as below:
- MPG X70 Gaming Pro Carbon Wi-Fi
- MEG X570 Godlike
- MEG X570 Ace
- MEG X570 Unify
- MAG X570 Tomahawk Wi-Fi
Apart from the X570 Boards it will also be coming for the B550 motherboards as well, and the list is as below:
- MPG B550 Gaming Plus
- MPG B550 Gaming Pro Carbon Wi-Fi
- MAG B550 Tomahawk
- MPG B550 Gaming Edge Wi-Fi
- MAG B550M Mortar Wi-Fi
- MAG B550M Mortar
With that, It is expected that firmware updates for more models will be rolled out in Mid-October, Except the A520 Models as those will have to wait till Late-October.
MSI also expects that final versions of this firmware will be done by the End of this year’s October as well.
